The Board of Directors of the European Federation of Intelligent Energy Efficiency Services has appointed Pascal Guillaume as its new President for the next three years. The start of his presidency became effective on 1 January 2019, as Bernard Thomas stepped down.

Mr. Guillaume has devoted most of his career to the energy services sector within Dalkia, holding managerial positions in France, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, and Benelux.

Pascal Guillaume has set three main objectives for his three-year Presidency:

  1. Energy efficiency to remain high in the EU political agenda;
  2. An adequate regulatory framework to be defined at European level that creates a positive environment for the development of Energy Efficiency Services and Energy Performance Contracting;
  3. To promote the implementation of district energy planning.
