EFIEES - European Federation of Intelligent Energy Efficiency Services - EFIEES - European Federation of Intelligent Energy Efficiency Services, represents private companies ensuring a global management of energy demand.

EFIEES, European Federation of Intelligent Energy Efficiency Services, represents private companies (Energy Efficiency Services Companies, EESCs) providing an overall energy management service to end-users. These companies provide services operating, maintaining and managing plant and equipment on end-users’ sites, including industry, commercial offices, collective residential buildings, public premises (leisure facilities, healthcare, hospitals, etc.), and district heating networks.

They commit contractually to reach technical, financial and environmental performance targets. Energy Performance Contracts constitute one of the major tools used to guarantee these results. The remuneration of EESCs is based on this performance commitment, defined as compliance with operating quality levels measured by indicators of improvements in energy efficiency.

Companies represented by EFIEES are very different in type: ranging from small or family-owned enterprises, with a local scope, to subsidiaries of international groups. They all share the common values specific to EFIEES.

EFIEES is a Key Supporting Partner of Energy Efficiency Watch, a project initiated and supported by Parliamentarians to create a communication platform on energy efficiency issues.

EFIEES is a constitutive member of the association E3PO (European P.P.P. Operating Companies in Infrastructures and Services) launched on 17 December 2008.
